  • CASA: Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children
    • “CASA of East Central Illinois is a not-for-profit organization that advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children brought into the Coles County and Cumberland County Juvenile court system.”
  • Mattoon Area P.A.D.S.
    • “A not for profit organization, provides safe and hospitable shelter, supportive services, and advocacy in order to assist homeless or at risk individuals and families to achieve a higher level of self sufficiency in collaboration with religious and community groups.”

We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good, and for political leaders and policymakers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest.”

  • Indivisible IL District 15
    • It’s a very big district, so anticipate in-person meetings will be regional, but you can use this group as a home base about 15th district issues.
  • CU Indivisible
    • “This group is predicated on the idea that progress is not inevitable. It requires the hard work and dedication of average citizens to hold their elected officials accountable. We also believe that the Trump agenda, if enacted, would be disastrous for this country. We cannot allow that to happen. We are defensively minded, non-partisan, and locally focused.”
